West Virginia Lottery Director Takes Over as President of the Multi-State Lottery Board of Directors

West Virginia Lottery Director John C. Musgrave takes over as President of the Multi-State Lottery Association Board of Directors, beginning March 16, 2006. He fills a vacancy left by Louisiana Lottery Director Randy Davis who left the lottery and the association’s post on March 15 to take a job in private industry.
John Musgrave has served as the lottery association’s vice-president since July 1, 2005. John also currently serves as chairman of two of the association’s game groups: the Powerball Group and the Multi-State Wide Area Progressive Video Lottery (MWAP) Game Group.
The Multi-State Lottery Association is a government-benefit, non-profit association entirely owned and operated by the member lotteries. The Board is comprised of lottery directors from each of the 31 member lotteries. POWERBALL is the association’s best-known game. POWERBALL® is currently sold in 30 lottery jurisdictions and will begin sales in North Carolina this summer. Other games sold through the association include Hot Lotto, Wild Card and 2by2.
The 31 MUSL members are: Arizona Lottery, Colorado Lottery, Connecticut Lottery Corporation, D.C. Lottery District of Columbia), Delaware Lottery, Idaho Lottery, Hoosier Lottery (Indiana), Iowa Lottery, Kansas Lottery, Kentucky Lottery Corporation, Louisiana Lottery Corporation, Maine Lottery, Minnesota State Lottery, Missouri State Lottery, Montana Lottery, Nebraska Lottery, New Hampshire Lottery Commission, New Mexico Lottery, North Carolina Education Lottery, North Dakota Lottery, Oklahoma Lottery, Oregon Lottery, Pennsylvania Lottery, Rhode Island Lottery, South Carolina Education Lottery, South Dakota Lottery, Tennessee Education Lottery, Virgin Islands Lottery, Vermont Lottery, Wisconsin Lottery, West Virginia Lottery.
