Viewpoint Creative, a creative services agency located in Boston and Los Angeles, won four gold, three silver and one bronze award at last week’s 2006 Promax/BDA conference in New York City. The awards recognize excellence in television advertising and design. The prize-winning work ran the gamut from television and radio spots to outdoor/ environmental advertising to design for mobile phone television.
“This year’s wins,” stated Viewpoint Creative Director, Michael Middeleer, “are particularly gratifying because of the range of platforms they represent. Our clients can turn to us for creative solutions regardless of medium or product and know their message will be cohesive and effective.”
Viewpoint Creative’s work received gold for Cinemax’s 2005 Year Ender (editorial), Hallmark Channel’s “Mystery Movies” (made-for-TV movie promotion), and Hallmark Channel’s Kraft Foods/ Mystery Woman (consumer promotion campaign).
Viewpoint Creative General Manager, Dave Shilale added, “We have a diversified and collaborative group of clients. We pride ourselves on doing what’s best for them and their brand in order to maintain the highest ratings and revenue for their organization. Our goal is to become an extension of their team, and through the sum of our parts, build a stronger and more creative campaign.“
Among silver winners were WE TV’s “Bridezillas” which won for “outdoor/environmental/transit advertising”, also OLN’s Pro Bull Riding Finals, recognized for Art direction and design. An image spot for Cinemax’s “Summer of Heroes,” for which Viewpoint did design and animation, also won silver. In the Bronze category, Viewpoint won for HBO Mobile art direction and design.
Joseph Kiely, Viewpoint Creative Director of Design had this to say, “What makes us unique is how we work with our clients to deliver strategically sound creative and visuals that speak to their viewer. From Bridezillas to Cinemax, it is not about a house style, but a design and visual direction that is right for the brand or initiative.”
